Manchester City youth coach Brian Barry-Murphy spoke of his pride at the club's Under-19 side.
The Citizens' youth team are now in the knockout stages of the UEFA Youth League.
The English side achieved the milestone by beating RB Leipzig at home on Tuesday.
“I'm feeling drained so I can only imagine how the players feel! They put so much into that they deserve that sense of euphoria at the end," Barry-Murphy stated post-game.
“It was such a competitive high-level game. I really enjoyed it.
“You always have a sense of jeopardy with a team like Leipzig but we showed great maturity in how we handled it and I was very proud of the players.
“You are going to face games where the challenge increases in the Youth League.
“It's a game that will really benefit our players in their development moving forward."
