Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is confident Vincent Kompany will overcome his injury woes.
He thinks Kompany - who has struggled for form and fitness this season - can provide the inspired leadership at City that John Terry has given Chelsea.
"When you have two or three injuries, it is difficult for the player. But I think he will return to his normal performances because he is a very good player," said the manager.
"Maybe next season he will not have injuries. Last season all the praise that John Terry is getting was said about Vincent."
