Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini won't rush Vincent Kompany's return from injury.

He was scheduled to return from his calf and hamstring problems during the festive period. But Pellegrini will wait until next week's game against Everton to consider Kompany for selection.

With Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko still out, City have no further injury problems ahead of today's game.

Yaya Toure is set to return for City after making it plain that he was "rested" for the 2-2 draw with Burnley.
