Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini admits he's been chasing David Silva since he first took charge of Inter Milan.
Mancini was able to sign the former Valencia winger before the World Cup.
He told City's website: "He's a fantastic player, I wanted him five years ago at Inter but he wanted to stay at Valencia."
