After victory over EB/Streymur in their UEFA Cup qualifier, Manchester City boss Mark Hughes spoke of his delight in capturing Chelsea defender Tal Ben Haim this week.
He told City's website: "We're delighted that he's come here, he has big Premier League experience and he is certainly going to add the quality that we already have. He's still at an age where he is really ambitious, that's important for the club and he has come here with a point to prove.
"He does not feel he had enough games at Chelsea and he is looking forward to trying establish himself in the team. He has good pedigree and we're delighted that he is with us."
