Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has admitted to his team's reliance on mifielder Rodrigo.
The Spaniard, often called Rodri, has been instrumental to the treble winners' success in the past 18 months.
His recent suspension for a red card coincided with the team losing three games in all competitions, including two in a row in the Premier League.
“He's so important," Guardiola told reporters during a press conference. “He will learn.
“Before he was sent off, there were two fouls on Rodri but the ref didn't apply the rule. Without that he's not sent off. He wasn't punished, but after Rodri has to learn.
“Even with the mistakes we make and they make, we have to control emotions, stand up and go. But I'm sure he'll learn."
