Manchester City star Erling Haaland should be back for his side's game against Southampton on Saturday.
The 42-goal striker did not play in his team's 4-1 thumping of Liverpool at the weekend.
However, manager Pep Guardiola believes Haaland will have recovered from his groin injury by the weekend.
“Erling is getting better," said Guardiola to reporters after the Liverpool game.
“On Friday he felt a little bit better compared to the previous two days.
“It's five days to Southampton, so hopefully can still help us like he has all season."
