Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says they didn't have time to replace Joao Cancelo.

The fullback left on deadline day for Bayern Munich on-loan.

Guardiola said, “We tried, but it took us three minutes.

"I asked our sporting director, Txiki Begiristain, 'Do you have any options?' and he said, 'No'.

"Then I said: 'Wait'.

"Better we spend the rest of this season without crazy spending. Will we sign someone for this position in the summer? We'll see."
