Manchester City are eyeing Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz.
City manager Pep Guardiola sees Wirtz as a replacement for unsettled ace Bernardo Silva.
BILD's football chief Christian Falk says City are "intensely" scouting 18-year-old midfielder Wirtz, who is also attracting interest from City's title rivals Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United.
"Pep Guardiola has sent scouts to Leverkusen time and time again recently to watch him," he said.
The youngster, who has been dubbed 'the new Kai Havertz', has recorded a remarkable tally of four goals and four assists in five Bundesliga appearances this season.
