Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is keen Real Madrid's exciting midfield duo Isco and Marco Asensio.

Contact has been made with both players about a move to England at the end of this season.

Diario Gol says Guardiola has laid on the charm to the midfield pair, assuring them of where they'd fit in his first choice plans.

At Real, despite their reputation, neither Isco nor Asensio are regarded as first-choice players for coach Zinedine Zidane and with a major spending spree expected this summer, there's concern that both youngsters will drop further down the selection pecking order.

Guardiola has already spoken to Asensio's camp about visiting Manchester and looking over the Etihad campus some time this year. The same invitation is set to be offered Isco in the coming weeks.
