Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reaffirmed hopes Ilkay Gundogan stays.
The midfielder is off contract and struck twice for victory at Everton on Sunday.
"He can show again and again and again the quality, importance and his commitment to all of us," said Guardiola. "Not just scoring goals, he has the momentum and he can do everything."
Guardiola admits he's urging City and Gundogan to reach agreement over a new dea;.
"I told the club," he said. "Nobody knows what will happen. Hopefully he will stay."
