Man City, Bayern Munich plan cut-price January bids for Liverpool rebel Emre Can

Manchester City and Bayern Munich are chasing a January deal for Liverpool contract rebel Emre Can.

The Germany international's deal expires in June and he's shown little enthusiasm about agreeing fresh terms.

Juventus GM Beppe Marotta has confirmed their interest in Can, but Tuttosport reports they face competition from City and Bayern.

While Juve would prefer to wait to take Can on a Bosman in June, City and Bayern hope to convince Liverpool to sell in January for €10m.

Both European giants hope to tempt Can with a contract offer in the region of €8m-a-year.
