Man City ace Haaland breaks new record in victory over RB Leipzig

Manchester City forward Erling Haaland is the fastest player to 40 Champions League goals in history.

The Norway attacker has set the milestone despite being in the early stages of his career.

Haaland got his 40th Champions League goal in a 3-2 win for City over RB Leipzig on Tuesday.

He got there in 35 matches, which is ten faster than the previous record holder Ruud van Nistelrooy, who required 45 appearances to hit the mark.

Haaland's goal was also the 12th that he has managed against RB Leipzig, having played them in the Bundesliga.

Haaland and City will be taking on Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday.
