Malmo FF prospect Hugo Larsson has rejected an offer from Chelsea.

The 17 year-old has been training with Chelsea's academy, but has decided to pursue his senior career with his Swedish club.

"It was of course a great experience to test train with Chelsea. I trained with the team and was even allowed to go to a tournament in Belgium. I also scored a goal there.

"It was a little too early. For me, it was better to continue my development at home in Malmö. I will first break through in MFF before I go abroad," Larsson told Kvällposten.

Now the 17-year-old Swede is chasing a breakthrough in Malmö, where he trains with several of his idols.

"I did not think it would happen so fast. It's very special. Both Ola Toivonen and Anders Christiansen are players that I look up to a lot. They give me tips in almost every workout."
