Mainz have set their asking price for Liverpool target Loris Karius.
The former Manchester City goalkeeper is emerging as a priority target for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds have made a verbal offer of £4.7 million for Karius, but that has fallen well short.
Mainz rate Karius closer to £8.5 million.
The 22 year-old shot-stopper has also been linked with Borussia Monchengladbach in recent days.
