Former Empoli striker Massimo Maccarone admits he's a big fan of Napoli attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Maccarone is now coach of Ghiviborgo and says he's been won over by the Georgian.

He told TMW: “He is a fantastic player.

"Someone like him had been missing in Italy for many years. The executives were good at buying both Kvaratskhelia and Kim, crucial for Napoli."

On his experience at Ghiviborgo Maccarone also said: “It's a healthy, family club that helps me work well. I'm happy with the growth of so many kids.

"We are sixth, three points behind Livorno for the playoffs. I want to try to give everything."
