Despite Lyon stating that a deal for Hugo Lloris had fallen over, it is now being reported that he could still be on his way to Tottenham.
The French goalkeeper is set to join Spurs on a long-term deal to provide competition for current White Hart Lane number one Brad Friedel.
Loris has been a Spurs target all summer and even though Lyon released a statement saying the two clubs could not come to an agreement, it is believed that a deal is close to being finalised.
It is likely to be a four-year contract for a fee of £7.9million which could rise to £11.8m with add-ons.
