Lyon fullback Rafael: I want to work for Man Utd

Lyon fullback Rafael da Silva hopes to eventually return to Manchester United.

The popular right-back is currently at Lyon, where he has been since leaving United in 2015, and has discussed his future in football.

Rafael spent seven years at United between 2008 and 2015, making 170 appearances under Sir Alex Ferguson, David Moyes and Louis van Gaal.

And the 29-year-old opened up on a possible return to Old Trafford in the future as a coach or scout.

He told Stretty News: “I've always said that I wanted to work for Manchester United as a scout or something. This could happen – I think I might start doing my coaching badges."
