Lyon coach Garcia: PSG final defeat has us ready for Juventus

Lyon coach Rudi Garcia insists they're ready for Juventus after defeat in the Coupe de Ligue final to PSG last night.

OL held PSG to a 0-0 draw, but lost in the penalty shootout.

“Only losing to PSG on penalties suggests we put in a good performance," said Garcia in his press conference.

“We could've done better, but they only made the difference in a technical exercise, and even then the shoot-out went to sudden death.

“In the Champions League, it will be important to do better in attack, but it's a good foundation to build on ahead of the Juventus match. Now we need to do psychological work with the players to make them understand we leave this Final with our heads held high, taking the positives and using those to reach the Champions League quarter-final.

“I saw the right attitude against PSG and we were well-organised against a team that was constructed to win the Champions League. That has to give us confidence going into the Juve game."
