Luton Town boss Edwards on Brighton: Exciting, nervous and proud

Luton Town boss Rob Edwards admits there's nerves ahead of their Premier League debut at Brighton on Saturday.

Edwards is preparing to take the Hatters to Falmer stadium.

He said, "Excited and nervous but that's ok. We've got a big season ahead. It has been a long time coming since the final kick of the ball at Wembley. The elation has turned into something real and now we feel ready.

"The fans are the most important people at any club. They are the most important people to me. They've been here before us and will be here after us. They've been through some bleak times and they deserve this.

"(I am) really proud. It's hard because you don't always think about it, you're always looking at the next thing so it's hard in football. It's hard to stop and take stock but we have to do that in training on a daily basis and after games on a weekly basis.

"I'm extremely proud, it has been an aim of mine for a long time. Everyone in football wants to be at the highest level."
