Premier League newcomers Luton have been given special dispensation to play without undersoil heating this season.
The club's Kenilworth Road ground does not have the required undersoil heating as stated in Premier League regulations.
Rule K.22 states that it must be present on all pitches, but Luton do not have time to install it ahead of the new campaign.
The minnows are set to begin their first top flight campaign in over 31 years this season.
Per The Mail, they are also working on a £10 million upgrade to their 10,000-capacity ground to meet other Premier League rules.
Their first home game against Burnley scheduled for August 19 has been moved back and will be replaced by an away fixture to give them extra time.
