Everton's Tom Cannon remains Preston North End's main target for the summer transfer window.

The striker had netted eight goals in the 21 games he played for the Championship club last term.

He is currently with Everton and training under boss Sean Dyche during preseason.

Cannon, per Lancs Live, is someone who Preston are very eager to bring back to the club.

They believe that another loan deal may be in the best interests of all parties.

However, they are not the only team who are looking at Cannon at present.

Blackburn Rovers, Luton Town and Sunderland are also seriously interested in the forward.
