Luis Alberto expects to return to Liverpool for preseason.

Alberto's agent has confirmed the youngster will return to Anfield for pre-season.

The Spain under-21 international has spent the season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna, where he scored six goals and notched seven assists.

“He belongs to Liverpool and has to return. We have already been informed that he will attend the pre-season with Liverpool," his agent Alvaro Torres said.

“During the transfer market in May, we know little. The first thing is to talk with Liverpool and see what opinion they have on Alberto."
