Low key buyer stalks West Ham

The latest party said to be considering investing in West Ham was apparently the first to declare an interest in the club, reports the Romford Recorder. While the likes of David Sullivan and David Gold, as well as the Intermarket Group have been vocal in the press about their designs on the club, there has been less from someone else.

Tony Fernandes, a Malaysian-based West Ham fan, is the owner of budget airline Air Asia X.

He has visited Upton Park and met officials at the club, though it appears he has not submitted any formal interest in taking over or investing in the club.
