Liverpool are believed to be keen on Tottenham defender Danny Rose according to the Sunday People.
The 22-year old left-back is on a season-long loan at Sunderland but could be sold in January if Spurs exercise the clause in the agreement with the Black Cats and can find a buyer.
The report in the Sunday publication suggests that Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is a fan of England U21 international Rose who he sees as potential competition for Jose Enrique.
Tottenham are believed to have valued Rose at £5million which Liverpool could afford with money to spend in January but Sunderland are also reportedly keen on a permanent move.
