Nick Powell put in an excellent display for Wigan Athletic in their 2-0 defeat of Ispwich Town at the DW Stadium on Saturday.
The Manchester United loanee made it two for the Latics when he calmly slotted the ball between defender Tommy Smith and the near post after on-loan Stoke City man Ryan Shotton's opener.
Powell's performance was praised by his manager Owen Coyle who is predicting a bright future for the midfielder.
"I said to David (Whelan, Wigan chairman) when I was bringing him in, for me it was a win-win-win situation," said Coyle.
"We would win out of it because we got a terrific player, Nick Powell would win because I've given him a platform to showcase his talents and Manchester United will get back a more-developed player with more experience and a player who can challenge; as we've done before with the (Daniel) Sturridges and the (Jack) Wilsheres.
"There's no doubt from me he can have a huge career."
