Arsenal loanee Mark McGuinness has netted the first goal of his career in an impressive display for Ipswich Town.

The youngster is on loan at the League One club, and helped them secure all three points against Burton.

The vital win was achieved thanks to defender McGuiness getting the only goal of the game.

Ipswich are now up to seventh place in the table after 20 matches, and they have a game in hand on some of the teams above them.

"I thought it was a good day at the office, particularly for me personally," McGuinness told the club website.

"As a defender I pride myself on clean sheets, and to get the goal was fantastic."
