Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has described his excitement at being able to coach in 'the mother of all football games' when the Reds take on Manchester United in the Europa League on Thursday.
The bitter north-west rivalry will write a new chapter when the two clubs face off twice in the space of eight days with a spot in the Europa League quarterfinals at stake.
"Games like this are the mother of all football games and that's what you want," Klopp said.
"We all love football. In each and every region of the world you have games like this. Maybe not with as big names.
"Liverpool v United [is] one of best I can imagine. For me to be a part of it I still can't get enough. It's the best thing imaginable."
