Liverpool are eyeing Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi.

The Mail on Sunday says Liverpool are looking at Wigan goalkeeper Al Habsi as a cheaper alternative to Stoke's Asmir Begovic.

Anfield keeper Pepe Reina is keen on a move back to Spain this summer but Stoke want £15million for their man.

Al Habsi has helped keep Wigan in the Premier League for two seasons but is expected to be sold if they are relegated this time.
