Liverpool are set to make a winter mover for Fernando Muslera according to reports.

According to Turkish publication Kralspor.com, the Reds will launch a £15million bid for the Galatasaray goalkeeper when the January transfer window opens.

Doubts remain over the form of Simon Mignolet and his back-up Adam Bogdan and it is believed that Jurgen Klopp is eager to bring a top quality gloveman to Anfield despite saying he is happy with Mignolet as his number one.

The Belgium international has agreed a new deal to stay on Merseyside but Klopp wants to bring in stronger competition in the form of Muslera.

The Uruguay number one has become one of Europe's top keepers since joining Galatasaray from Lazio in 2011 and the Istanbul giants are not looking to sell according to their Uzbek owner Dursun Ozbek who recently said he had no plans to part ways with the 29-year-old.
