Liverpool plan to cut short the loan of Ben Woodburn at Sheffield United.

The Liverpool Echo says Woodburn has only registered 10 minutes of first team action at Sheffield United this season. The highly-rated Liverpool youngster has struggled to make it into Chris Wilder's side.

Liverpool recently offered the 19-year-old a chance to play for their U23s and he completed all 90 minutes.

It now seems certain the forward will return to the Anfield club in January.
