Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli says he'll strive to do better after receiving a one-match ban for an Instagram post.
The Italy international will miss the crunch clash against Arsenal, was hit with a £25,000 fine and ordered to attend an education course for an "abusive or insulting image posted on social media".
But the controversial striker immediately insisted he had learned his lesson and it would never happen again.
Balotelli said: "Following the recent events related to my "Super Mario" post, the FA decision has made clear that it was wrong.
"I am sorry that my team-mates and supporters of Liverpool FC have to be penalised for something I did and now come to regret.
"It is my intention to comply with the decision of the FA and make sure it never happens again."
