Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has hailed the potential of his teammate Ibrahima Konate.

The 23-year-old has been immaculate for the Reds in defense next to Virgil Van Dijk this season.

Konate arrived from RB Leipzig in a £36 million transfer in the summer, and has slowly established himself as a regular starter in Champions League matches.

"Wow. Outstanding. The performance he put in yesterday, I'm lost for words. Words can't do it justice," Alexander-Arnold said to the club's website after the Champions League final loss to Real Madrid.

"We've created a bond & he's an amazing lad. The potential he has is ridiculous. The sky is the limit."
