Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has played down comparisons with David Beckham.
The England international right-back curled in a sublime free-kick in Wednesday's 4-0 win over Crystal Palace.
Asked about Beckham after the game, the 22-year-old said: "The comparisons with the best free-kick taker in Premier League history are very nice but there is a lot of work to do."
On the result, he added: "It is quite close [the title] but we know a lot can happen in the Premier League. We have worked hard for this and this is what we have always dreamed of.
"We are in a good position so hopefully we can get over the line soon. We have to focus on ourselves, we are not hoping Man City drop points, we know it's our hands. We still have to go to City next week and get a result."
