Liverpool are set to gain a financial windfall due to the deal that took Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.

Many pundits and fans had expected the Brazilian to leave Barcelona this summer.

Coutinho was on loan at Bayern Munich last term. But he is now part of manager Ronald Koeman's plans.

If Coutinho plays 14 more games for Barca, the Reds will be owed another £4.4 million as part of the transfer deal, according to the Mirror.
