Liverpool are showing serious interest in Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere.

The Mirror says Liverpool are watching developments.

Jurgen Klopp raided Arsenal for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain last summer as he had just 12 months remaining on his deal at the time.

And after a slow start, the £40m move appears to have worked out for the former Southampton attacking midfielder.

Wilshere could end up following down a similar path, with the England international currently facing the prospect of going to the World Cup as a free agent.

Everton are said to have offered him a deal with Premier League leaders Manchester City also keeping an eye on matters.
