Liverpool are emerging as favouries to land Hoffenheim midfield ace Roberto Firmino.

Firmino's agent declared this week that he expected his client to "move to England" this summer - with Manchester United widely regarded as his destination.

However, Globoesporte says Firmino will join Liverpool after the Copa America.

The 23 year-old Brazil international is ready to leave Hoffenheim this summer after four years with the German club.

It's suggested Liverpool will spend big to land Firmino after cleverly working the Bosman market with deals for James Milner, Danny Ings and Adam Bogdan.
