Liverpool are pushing ahead with plans to sign Crystal Palace star Cheick Doucoure.
The Reds have not been able to sign either Moises Caicedo or Romeo Lavia this summer.
The latter duo have signed for Chelsea, with Caicedo officially confirmed and Lavia in the final stages of sealing a deal.
Per The Independent, Liverpool are now going back to Doucoure, who was a target earlier this summer.
However, the Eagles could demand up to £60 million for the Mali international this late in the transfer window.
Palace are losing Michael Olise to Chelsea in a cut price deal, due to a release clause, which will result in them demanding even more for Doucoure.
