Liverpool are planning to sign out-of-favor Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
The former Manchester City man has failed to make any impression since joining City last summer.
Phillips, who barely featured for the treble winners last term, is on the market if the right offer arrives.
Per The Mirror, Liverpool are assessing a number of midfield targets before the window closes.
The likes of Bayern Munich's Ryan Gravenberch and Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat are in their sights.
However, Phillips may be a transfer that is more financially prudent at present, given he is out of favor at City.
