Liverpool have quashed Inert Milan's hopes of bringing Dirk Kuyt to the club.
The Reds have told Inter that the Dutchman is not for sale after receiving a fax from the Nerazzurri enquiring about his availability.
Rumours suggest that Kuyt was looking forward to reuniting with former Anfield boss Rafael Benitez at the San Siro but Liverpool have made it clear they want to retain the hard-working forward who is not prepared to push for a transfer.
