Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says Thiago Alcantara will leave the club with their best wishes.
The midfielder has had a transfer request accepted as he pushes to join Liverpool this summer.
Rummenigge said, "I'm not angry at all, I like him. I think he's a great soccer player, a fine soccer player and he's also a good character.
“At 29, he is at an age where, if he wants to do something new, he has to do it now because if the three are at the front, it will be more difficult to make transfers to accomplish.
"Now I don't want to make any public comment about the size (of fee) that we have in mind, then we will deal with it, but we will not, as I have already said, hold a summer sale."
