Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in Blackburn Rovers youngster John Buckley.

The 19-year-old has been with Rovers since he was six years of age and recently broke into the fringes of Tony Mowbray's first-team squad.

Despite having signed Buckley to a new contract last year, Blackburn are keen to reward the Englishman with an improved deal to warn off potential suitors.
