Liverpool have made an inquiry regarding right-back Benjamin Pavard's situation at Bayern Munich.
The French full-back has been in and out of the Bayern team this season, and is out of contract in a year.
Pavard, who won the 2018 World Cup, has been at Bayern since that summer.
While Pavard has won nearly every major trophy at Bayern, he has not received a new contract.
German publication Kicker states that Liverpool have made a move to secure him on a cut price deal.
Pavard would be competition for Trent Alexander-Arnold if he moves to Liverpool, and may even allow the former to fully move into a midfield role.
