Liverpool midfielders Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones have a chance to stake their claim for a position in the first team next season.
The two youngsters, especially Jones, are enjoying good ends to the campaign for the Reds.
With all the talk of midfield transfer targets in the summer, Graeme Souness has outlined how Jones and Elliott could save their side hundreds of millions.
“Some of them are fighting for their future at the club," he told Sky Sports.
“The young boys - Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones - they have to show the manager you don't have to buy expensive midfield players, we've already got them here."
The Reds are being linked to Mason Mount of Chelsea and Bayern Munich ace Ryan Gravenberch.
