VfL Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven is under consideration by Liverpool.

With former VfL sporting director Jorge Schmadtke now in charge at Liverpool, the Reds are considering the Dutchman.

While no offer is imminent, Liverpool have Van de Ven on their radar.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano told GiveMeSport: “Van de Ven is a player they've[Liverpool] been following for a long time. Let's see if they decide to enter into it or not.

"But it's just about following the player nothing else at the moment honestly."
