Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian set for intense training sessions

Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian is set to undergo intense training sessions during the international break.

The Daily Mail says Liverpool will give Adrian a series of intense training sessions to ensure their number two goalkeeper is up to speed for when their season resumes in two weeks.

The Spaniard arrived at Liverpool four weeks ago to act as Alisson Becker's deputy but a serious calf issue for the Brazilian has catapulted Adrian into the spotlight.

He kept his first clean sheet of the campaign at Burnley on Saturday and it clearly meant a great deal to him, as he dropped to his knees and punched the air in relief. He had earlier made an excellent stop to deny Jay Rodriguez a consolation goal.
