Liverpool fullback Glen Johnson is happy to have silenced his critics.
Johnson claims he is one of the few players to have proved Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho wrong.
Johnson told the Sunday Mirror: "When I went to Chelsea, I was playing regularly under Claudio Ranieri. Then Mourinho came in and he had his own style and his own players he liked.
"Just because one manager didn't fancy me, it didn't make me a rubbish player overnight. Those few years at Chelsea when I wasn't in the team, I just wanted to go and play. So I was over the moon when I signed for Portsmouth."
