Liverpool are negotiating with Bayern Munich over midfielder Ryan Gravenberch this week.
The Reds are determined to secure the 21-year-old Holland international for manager Jurgen Klopp.
Per The Mail, Klopp has long standing interest in Gravenberch that dates back to last summer.
After not signing Moises Caicedo or Romeo Lavia, the Reds will be hoping to get one high profile midfielder into the club.
While they have added Wataru Endo from Stuttgart, either Gravenberch or Crystal Palace's Cheick Doucoure will also be arriving.
If the Reds believe they can secure an agreement for Gravenberch, he is the preferred target.
