Liverpool could be about to get a boost as Joel Matip nears his return from injury.
The centre-back is back in training, which means he is in contention to start against Brighton on Saturday.
But the Reds will still be without Dejan Lovren, who is not yet fit.
Asked about Lovren's absence, Klopp said in his press conference: "I don't know [how long]. Yes, it is serious otherwise he could play [against Brighton] but it's not that serious.
"I would expect him back maybe after Crystal Palace but I'm not sure we have to see.
"Joel [Matip] trained for the first time yesterday with the team.
"That is really good but we have to see. We have to take it day-by-day and see how he is doing but that is good for us of course."
