Liverpool defender Ki-Jana Hoever is adamant he's improving every day training with his senior teammates.
Hoever, 18, insists has no regrets leaving Ajax.
He told Het Parool: "Sadio Mané and Mohamed Salah are my opponents in practice. The first time you think: wow, that's world class. It was tough, but I could keep up with them with speed. The trainers thought that was also nice to see. I knew that I am not slow, so that gave me a lot of confidence.
"During training I try to absorb everything I see and hear."
Hoever also says that Virgil van Dijk, Georginio Wijnaldum and assistant coach Pepijn Lijnders help him a lot.
“They often give tips and coach me in Dutch. Virgil's deep voice then sounds loudly across the field. I look at him with great admiration, but for now I focus on the position of right back."
